5 Health Benefits of Ginger Tea

Ginger is widely used in preparation of food, and as a home remedy to cure and prevent various diseases. We are always told by our mothers and grandmothers to have Ginger or we say ‘Adrak vali chai’ (Ginger Tea) to get relief from cough, cold, sore throat etc.

Ginger tea is not only a winter thing. One should have it in all seasons, be it summers or winters. In winters, you can have a hot cup of ginger tea, while in summers, you can have a glass of chilled ginger and lemon cooler.

Making a ginger tea is easy. You have to finely chop the ginger. Boil 2 cups of water and add the chopped /crushed ginger. Keep boiling till the water reduces to 1 cup and you start enjoying the fragrance of the tea. Take a spoon of honey in your cup and pour the ginger water thereafter. Stir well. You can add few drops of lemon too, according to your preference. And it is ready to drink.
